A few days ago, we released a new extension to help you improve your normal ClassifiedEngine to a marketplace – ClassifiedEngine Shop.
However, seem like there was some confusions during the update process. In order to help you stay away from the troubles, in the meantime, we decided to maintain two independent versions of ClassifiedEngine.
- For those who just want to run a classified ad site: please update your ClassifiedEngine to version 1.8.5
- For those who want to use the CE shop extension: we’ll release ClassifiedEngine version 2.0.1 within a few days, please update your theme to this version.
Here’s the detailed information regarding the updates:
- Fix “Contact” issue: in the previous version, users received a “Message not sent!” notification when trying to send a message to a seller. This issue has been fixed now.
- Fix “PayPal” issue: previously, users get to Payment confirmed in Paypal, but after that it re-directed users using the ‘Payment Failed’ page and the listing didn’t display. This bug has gone now.
- Fix “Edit” issue: you now can edit the ad’s category without hassles and it won’t conflict with the CE Customfields anymore.
- Fix “Modify” issue: in the latest version, when users applied 02 categories for an ad, admin couldn’t modify it. The bug is fixed now.
- Fix “Mobile” issue: in the previous versions, you couldn’t view the ad results on mobile, the bug has gone now. Also, the registering users email in mobile version are saved in the database.
Mobile version is updated to enhance the site’s performance. - The “Next” and “Previous” buttons are hidden when users only upload one photo.
